App Releases
White Label App customers can encourage or force their app users to upgrade their app to the latest available version.
When set up, this feature displays a customisable prompt to guest in an older app version, encouraging or forcing an upgrade.
Upgrading the app will benefit guests as they will be able to take advantage of a newly released features by being aware of them through encouraging upgrades. It will also benefit customers, as they will be able to support any critical bug fixes or security concern in a more efficient way by enforcing upgrades.

Users must be assigned the permission in iOrder Platform to be able to access this function:
Navigate to Edit Users
On a per user basis set the permission Manage Application Release Versions | click Save Changes
Setting App Release Upgrade Prompts
Follow these steps to add an upgrade prompt:

Click Configure | select Manage App Releases

The App List will be displayed, select an app to add upgrade rules | click Edit
iOS and Android is managed separately and is displayed by two tabs -
For either operating system set the following drop downs

Minimum Release Version - set the minimum release version guests should upgrade to

Recommended Release Version - set the recommended version guests should upgrade to

For a version to show in the drop down it must have a release note configured

It is not possible to set a minimum or a recommended version only, both must be set up

It is also not possible to set a minimum version higher than a recommended version

If the "Minimum and Recommended" versions are the same, the "Minimum" message will be displayed, enforcing the upgrade

From the table of app versions choose a version to add Release Notes | click Edit

Enter the Release Notes | click Save
Zonal recommends to keep this message short and non-technical and inform the guest the reason they should upgrade to this release -
Click Save Changes
In extreme situations, Zonal can set a minimum global version, if this is set, customer will not be able to set a minimum or a recommended version lower than it.
